Established in 1990, the Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) mission is to “provide assistive technology and accommodations to support individuals with disabilities and wounded, ill and injured Service members throughout the Federal Government in accessing information and communication technology.”
CAP has the authority to provide assistive technology and devices at no cost to Federal agencies that have a partnership agreement with CAP. As an ergonomic manufacturer of standing desks and workstations, two of the HealthPostures TaskMate Electric Standing Desks Series products are sold through the CAP program.
The TaskMate Executive 6100 and the TaskMate Journey 6200 are used by many government employees who’ve requested assistance through their Human Resources department. Some of the government entities who’ve selected HealthPostures products to best fit their employees’ needs include the Department of Labor, Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and more.
